I had the pleasure of ‘virtually’ meeting Madeleine McKenzie through a podcast interview with Kerryn Vaughan at Get Off The Bench. I was intrigued with the new concept she has introduced through her business, ‘Cabaret On Call’ … ‘live recorded’ cabaret performances beamed to aged care facilities via a link. To bring joy and happiness into their lives during their twilight years is a wonderfully unselfish initiative. I subscribed to the Cabaret On Call channel on YouTube and was immediately transported to another era – a world of entertainment through song and sequins. There were songs that I loved as a child, songs I knew from old movies and songs that are simply feel-good, singalong songs. You might know someone in aged care who will benefit from a little bit of razzle-dazzle.Or maybe you could just brighten up someone’s life by gifting them a cabaret performance by Madeleine. You’ll be glad you did. Simone Bowers Founder The Write Track – www.thewritetrack.com.au

Madeleine has been entertaining our Gippsland audiences over the past 20 years and has performed at some memorable events in this time. These include the first ever Gippsland Longest Lunch at the Sale Turf Club, the Inaugural Big Festivale at WSC Botanical Gardens for its 150th anniversary and the Small Town summit held in Maffra for the Municipal Collective of Victoria, which was attended by over 200 CEO’s from Australian Communities. All of these performances were thoroughly entertaining and engaging. Cabaret on Call is her own project to serve the aged care community and will do this in style and with the professional attitude I have come to know from her work.
Dave Willow, Bond Street Event Centre
The Bond Street Event Centre has employed Cabaret on Call when they were previously called Love Child. They performed several “sold out” shows for us and they were one of the most popular acts we have had. They are a lot of fun and go down really well with the crowd. We would have them back anytime.

We have invited Madeleine to entertain at a number of events at our cafe. She is always professional, efficient and a delight to deal with. The way Madeleine reads an audience ensures her entertainment always hits the mark for an audience of any age or demographic. A fun night is always ensued, with lots of singing, dancing and laughing. I would highly recommend Maddy as the answer to any musical need!
Four years ago Madeleine was the entertainment at my wedding she entertained my guests beautifully from the very beginning, she was engaging, classy, fun, relevant and with that impressive voice had the dance floor constantly full to overflowing. All my guests four years later remember Madeleine for the brilliant entertainment that she provided. I can highly recommend Madeleine.
